If you've ever lost you cell phone you know how frustrating it can be. Your privacy is compromised and, well, you're without your phone. Apple has come up with a pretty cool solution for that. They've come out with a Find My iPhone app that will locate your iPhone and display it on Goolge maps.
It's pretty simple to use, all you have to do is log into your MobileMe account and every device, this includes iPads as well, that's registered to the account will show up on Google maps. When the iPhone or iPad shows up on the map you have the ability to lock it.
This is quite a brilliant little app that seems to be a no brainer for anyone with an iPhone or iPad. A MobileMe account will run you $99 bucks per year, but it's a small price to pay for peace of mind. The Find My iPhone app requires iOS version 3.1.3 or later.
