White iPhone 4 shows up in app

So people that have been waiting for the white iPhone 4 have gotten a little tease today. When you download the latest Apple store app the white iPhone 4 shows up when you go to the order page.

The only problem is that it still isn't available to order yet. The white iPhone shows up when you go to the order page. But when you click on the link to order it you get the message telling you they aren't available. :(

This is still a good sign though. It leads one to believe that the white iPhone 4 will be available sooner rather than later.

If you still haven't gotten the iPhone 4 but you'd like to get one here's your chance. Click here for a chance to win an iPhone 4.

iPod nano has big markup

The iPod nano 6G is quite possibly Apples tiniest product. However that's about the only thing tiny about it, especially when it comes to the markup in price.

Estimates of the cost to manufacture the iPod nano 6G has been rumored around $45 dollars for the 8GB model. Which means at a $149 retail price, the unit is seeing roughly a 300% markup in price. No wonder Apple makes money hand over fist.

People are much more aware of cost on products these day and a 300% markup would make it tough for anyone to come to terms with at the check out. But when it comes to Apple people seem to put any kind of reasoning aside and see the glitz and glamor of their products.

I admit I'm the same way. Apple has a strong allure to me and I love their products. But a 300% markup does seem a little extreme. Anyways, I've got to cut this post short, I've got an 8GB nano on hold at Wal Mart I've got to go pick up.

Verizon, white iPhone rumors still floating around

Lots of people are awaiting the arrival of the white iPhone 4. Not only are they waiting for the white one to be released, but many people are hoping Verizon finally becomes a carrier as well. The rumors of this won't die, especially since Apple hasn't confirmed nor denied any reports.

It could be a good thing if Verizon and iPhone team up because it would give people another option. AT&T has been the only way to go. But options and competition are always a good thing. No confirmation yet as to the actual Verizon/iPhone hookup, but it seems like it's all but a done deal. Usually when someone doesn't deny rumors there's a good chance of the rumor becoming reality.

White iPhone 4 spotted!?

MSNBC is reporting that a white iPhone 4 was spotted in New York. However I have my doubts as to it legitimacy.

A little while ago some dude put up a video on YouTube on how to make your iPhone 4 white. It involved actually taking apart the phone and installing a kit, for lack of a better term, that creates the look of a white iPhone 4.

But there was the case of the original leaked iPhone 4 by gizmodo earlier this year so it is a possibility. But again, I really don't know if anyone who actually has a white iPhone 4 would be flaunting it right now with people, including myself, waiting desperately for it to be released. The only people that may have one are people working for Apple. And I doubt they'd make the same mistake the rube did earlier this year. You never know though.

All I know is I'm overly anxious for Apple to release the darn thing.

Colorware can give you options

If you've recently purchased a new iPod Touch 4G and want to spice it up a little Colorware may be exactly what you're looking for.

Colorware is offering some unique changes you can apply to your new iPod touch. If you've gotten bored with the color then you have the ability to change it. You can now change the color of the back or the button on your Touch, as well as the earbuds. You can choose or mix and match a variety of colors.

This is a great idea. I've always been a fan of these kinds of things because it allows you to be unique and different. People love to have the only one of something and the options given to you by Colorware allow you to stand out a little.

Verizon to have brushed aluminum iPhone 4?

Verizon, as claimed by WSJ, is planning it's iPhone 4 launch in early 2011. But could they be introducing a new twist on the already stylish iPhone 4?

Gizmodo has leaked some photos of an iPhone 4 with a cool looking brushed aluminum cover. It could possibly be that this will be exclusive to Verizon when they finally do their launch. But it could also just be a custom job, nobody's really sure.

What is for certain however is how awesome this iPhone looks. If it becomes available I may just give up on the white one and go with this new look. Only time will tell but I'm sure that the reaction to this will be positive. So who knows, maybe Apple will see the potential.

Turn your iPod nano 6G into a wristwatch

This is an absolutely brilliant idea. The company Incipio has come up with a product called the linq that turns your iPod nano 6G into a digital wristwatch. How rad is that?

The company makes a wristband with a rugged case that fits your nano and turns it into a wristwatch. It's got an opening so you can still plug in your headphones, so it's basically a fully functional nano case.

The idea is great and gives you another reason to opt for the nano over the regular iPod touch. It's hard to think why anyone would go back to a regular watch now.

Free iPhone 4 bumper offer ends

If you didn't get your free iPhone 4 bumper then you missed out. The offer ended at the end of September, which was set up to help the antenna issue.

There haven't been nearly as many complaints about the antenna issue recently however. That problem seemed to kind of just disappear. I have my feelings that it had more to do with AT&Ts network being overloaded more than anything else. Considering that there were virtually no complaints coming from Canada, who has two major carriers in Rogers and Fido, it kind of makes sense.

Regardless, there was a lot of talk that Apple would be shipping out new iPhone 4s with fixed antennas at the beginning of October when the bumper offer expired. That could very well happen and nobody would even be aware. It's very possibel Apple is gradually slipping these "improved" iPhones into shipments without anyone being aware. Still no word on when the white iPhone 4 will be available.
